Since I adopted the natural hair wave, I've realized that not every remedy works for every hair type. As with this homemade shampoo tutorial, it would be wise to do the same. If you have dry and itchy scalp you should add some tea tree or peppermint oil to reduce the itchiness and help with growth. If you're worried about the castille stripping away the oils from your hair, reduce the amount.
