I love this DIY chicken coop design, the measurements might not be perfect but luckily I have a brother who can check them out for me. I love the two compartments, one for sunshine and dirt and the other for roosting. They get plenty of sunshine and warmth during the day which they need to be healthy. This tutorial doesn't use up any special tools but you can have the wood cut and just assemble the pieces.
